Rain and wind days.

On occasions, there is the risk of strong climate changes that may affect in an important way our daily life.

For greater safety in these circumstances the following advise is recommended:

  • Secure exterior doors and windows. Lower or close blinds on rails.
  • Remove from balconies, terraces and windowed balconies, all the objects that could be carried by wind, such as flowepots, furnitures, umbrellas, ornaments, etc¿.as they could become dangerous elements that could fall on the public highway.
  • Gather and secure the canopies and blinds without rails.
  • Reinforce TV and radio aerials, electrical advertisements, scaffoldings, cranes and in general all those elements of your house or workplace that could fall on the public highway.
  • Don't protect yourself against the wind near of walls, fences or trees, because of the danger of total or partial fall of the same.
  • Walk carefully, especially on narrow streets with old buildings or under construction ecause of the danger of detachments of cornices, tables or other elements.
  • Check periodically the roof, terrace, guttering, drainpipes and terrace's drains, removing all the elements that could block running and evacuation of the rainwater, with that it will avoid flooding and overload of the same.
  • Check for the proper functioning of drains and pump groups removing water in garages and basements.
  • Don't touch streetlights, electric cables or poles. Disconect all appliances and TV aerials, during strong storms.
  • Drive carefully. Try not to drive near trees or parking your vehicle under trees or near walls or fences.
  • In case of possible danger call the police or fire brigade.
